Meet Dr Jurek Pietrzak
As a highly specialised orthopaedic surgeon with nearly a decade of experience, Dr. Pietrzak leads Thrive Orthopaedics with unparalleled expertise in hip and knee surgery. With two national fellowships in knee sports surgery and hip preservation, plus an international fellowship in advanced hip and knee reconstruction from the United Kingdom, he delivers a full spectrum of care - from preventive orthobiologics and minimally invasive techniques to robotic-assisted joint replacements and complex revision surgeries for failed replacements or infections. He is passionate about transforming lives, having combined clinical excellence with academic rigour, presented over 200 papers, authored three textbook chapters, and served as secretary of the South African Arthroplasty and Hip Preservation Societies.
